Their versatility allows them to be used under trees, in perennial borders, Island beds and edging large shrubs. The larger Spirea can be planted alone or in groups as excellent focal points. Spring blooming Spirea are a welcome sight with spectacular white flowers. The pink flowers of the summer blooming Spirea sit above colored foliage from spring through to fall. Spring Blooming Bridal Wreath Spirea Spirea vanhouttei 'Bridal Wreath' - A unique form with gracefully arching branches and white flowers.Height and spread is 2m Garland Spirea Spirea x arguta - Clusters of snow white flowers in early spring. Height and spread is 1m Halwards Silver Spirea Spirea nipponica 'Halwards Silver' - Arching branches are covered in abundant white flowers in spring. The height and spread is 1.5m Snowmound Spirea Spirea nipponica 'Snowmound' - Deep green foliage provides an interesting contrast to the white blooms. The height and spread is 1m. Summer Blooming Anthony Waterer Spirea Spirea x bumalda 'Anthony Waterer' - The intense dark pink flowers of Anthony Waterer are a hit in summer.
