What is Plants Love You?

Plants Love You is a national awareness initiative championed by the Canadian Nursery Landscape Association (CNLA). It highlights the many ways plants benefit our everyday lives, from improving air quality and supporting biodiversity to creating welcoming green spaces and contributing to our physical and mental well-being.

The campaign encourages Canadians to recognize plants as an investment in healthier environments, more resilient communities, and a greener future.

Bringing the Message to Life at Eagle Lake Nurseries

As a wholesale nursery supplying trees, shrubs, perennials, and ornamental grasses throughout western Canada, we know the value of our work extends well past the farm.

The plants we grow become part of residential landscapes, public parks, commercial developments, and community green spaces, where their benefits can be enjoyed for generations.

By embracing the Plants Love You campaign, we’re helping amplify an important industry message: plants matter, and so do the people who grow, design, install, and care for them.

A Stronger Voice for Canada's Horticulture Industry

By providing a shared message, the campaign helps unite growers, garden centres, landscape professionals, designers, and industry organizations in communicating the value of plants to the broader public.

This collective approach strengthens public awareness, encourages investment in green infrastructure, and reinforces the importance of horticulture in building sustainable, resilient communities.

For an industry whose contributions are often experienced but not always recognized, initiatives like Plants Love You help tell a more compelling story about the work we do and why it matters.

At Eagle Lake Nurseries, we’re proud to support that conversation and help grow an appreciation for plants, the people behind them, and the lasting difference they make.
