Eagle Lake Nurseries partners with the Calgary Horticultural Society

Eagle Lake Nurseries has joined the Calgary Horticultural Society as a corporate member, beginning a partnership with one of Western Canada’s largest and longest-standing gardening organizations.

The Society has been connecting Calgary gardeners since 1908 through education, events and community gardening. For Eagle Lake, which has grown prairie-hardy plants east of Strathmore since 1970, the partnership is a natural fit: the Society’s members are the gardeners who plant, care for and champion the trees, shrubs and perennials we grow.

Over the coming season, members can expect to see Eagle Lake at Society events and to have opportunities to visit the farm.

We look forward to growing with the Society and its members. Details about upcoming events will be posted here and on the Society’s website, calhort.org.
