Echinacea purpurea ‘Magnus’
Magnus Coneflower is a superior cultivar of the classic purple coneflower, featuring extra-large, vibrant pink-purple blooms and strong, upright stems.
About Magnus Coneflower and growing it in Alberta
Its enhanced vigor and long bloom period make it ideal for sunny borders, prairie-style gardens, pollinator habitats, and restoration projects. Adaptable to various soils and urban conditions, it tolerates drought well, though occasional pests like Japanese beetles and aphids may appear.
