Purplegum Candles Speedwell
Veronica spicata ‘Purplegum Candles’
Purplegum Candles Speedwell is a striking perennial producing tall, vertical spires of intense purple flowers that bring dramatic architectural interest to borders, beds, and pollinator gardens.
About Purplegum Candles Speedwell and growing it in Alberta
Thriving in full sun and well-drained soils, it is heat and drought tolerant, hardy, and highly attractive to bees and butterflies. While resilient, it may develop mildew in overly wet or poorly ventilated conditions, so good airflow is recommended.
