Cornus sericea
Red Osier Dogwood is known for its bright red stems which are particularly prominent in winter.
It thrives in moist to wet soils and is often used in riparian zones, naturalized plantings, and reclamation sites. Spring flowers and white berries support pollinators and birds. This fast-growing species spreads by suckers and is excellent for erosion control. It is largely pest-free but may be affected by canker or leaf spot in dense, wet plantings.
Since 1970, our values of honesty, hard work and excellent customer service have kept us growing strong.
