Reverse Patriot
Hosta × ‘Reverse Patriot’
Reverse Patriot Hosta is a striking perennial that inverts the classic 'Patriot' variegation, featuring bright white centers framed by deep green margins.
About Reverse Patriot and growing it in Alberta
Its crisp, bold foliage provides dramatic contrast in shaded gardens, adding visual impact to borders, containers, and foundation plantings. Adaptable to a range of soils and relatively drought tolerant once established, it produces lavender flowers in midsummer that attract bees and pollinators. Though it is undemanding, it may occasionally need slug control in moist conditions.
