About Ville De Lyon Clematis and growing it in Alberta
Blooming on new growth after annual late-winter pruning, it thrives in full to partial sun above and well-drained soil, with shaded roots below. Heat-tolerant and low-maintenance, it’s ideal for trellises, arbours, fences, or weaving through shrubs and small trees, with light pruning promoting healthy growth and abundant flowering season after season.
